Progress Made in Upgrading BEPC
- Installation and Commissioning of Electron Linac Completed
Important
progress has been made in the installation and commissioning of the
equipment for the first phased BEPC II project. At 16:41, November
19,2004 the signal of an electron beam at the exit of the electron linac
was clearly observed on the oscilloscope of the linac control room.
According to calculation, the intensity is over 2 A. The obtainment of
this signal marks an important phased result obtained in upgrading the
BEPC-II linac.
