Application for Chinese Visa:

Please go to Registration area in the workshop web page. From there, you will provide us sufficient information by filling the registration form. You will receive a formal invitation letter for your Chinese Visa application once finished the registration. The letter is in PDF form. Please print it out and send it with your passport to a near by Chinese consulate or embassy. You will get your visa within two weeks. Following info will be essential: your full name, Affiliation, Nationality or Region, Passport Number, Mailing Address, Telephone and Fax number, Accompanying person's name, passport number and nationality, name of the city where a Chinese embassy or a Chinese consulate is located and where you want to apply for your visa.

Hotels:

（1）Chang-Feng Holiday Inn is a 4-star Hotel one block away from IHEP. A bus will be arranged for participants to come to the campus of IHEP and return to the hotel.
Block reservation rate is RMB 500/night (62USD) for a standard double-bed room.
Supplementary western style breakfast is included.

（2）IHEP Guest House is on campus. There are limited rooms available (~15 rooms).

        One-room Apartment 184RMB/night (23USD)
  Please make your choice in the workshop web page.You do not need to book the room directly with the hotel. The room will be reserved for you otherwise you won’t get the block reservation rate.

Transportation from Beijing Airport to your hotel:

(1)   By taxi: You can get a taxi right outside the arrival terminals. It is about 40 km from the airport to the Chang-Feng Holiday inn or the IHEP Guest House. The fare is about 20USD. If you take the Taxi to the Hotel, please show the following tag ① or ②to the taxi driver.

(2)   Airport shuttle bus: You also can take airport shuttle bus from the airport to the Gong Zhu Fen bus station. The fare is 16 RMB (2 USD). Then you can take taxi to the Hotel or the Guest House. The fare is about 25 RMB (2.5 USD). If you take the airport shuttle bus to Gong Zhu Fen, please show the following tag ③ to the airport staff or any one nearby you. When you arrive to Gong Zhu Fen, you need to take taxi to the Hotel, please show the tag ①or ② to the taxi driver.
