Since last workshop at Taipei,(2002)
there has been much progress in both experimental and
theoretical research on astrophysics and the search for the
cosmologic tau neutrino.Some experiments, such as the HiRes and
Auger, have gathered statistically significant air shower data,
and have started to search for UHE tau neutrinos. A number of
experiments, IceCube, Antares, Nemo, Nestor and NT200+ are
under construction. New experiments like ANITA, ASHRA, CRTNT,
NUTEL, Salsa etc. are initiated for R/D. Paralleling the
world-wide experimental efforts, there is enormous progress in
the theoretical sector and other neutrino related physics. On
behalf of the Internation Orgnization Committee,as listed below,
I announce that the International UHE Tau Neutrino Workshop will
be held in the IHEP, Beijing to update this progresses and
discuss the further research in tau neutrino observation and
related topics. The tentative time is in April, 2006. We have
had two sponsors for this workshop and are looking for more.They
are the Chinenes Physics Society High Energy Physics
Sub-society, the Center of Chinese Advanced Science and
Technology. Please forward to whoever you think to be relevant.
